Theatres Building, under the Spire, contains - The State Theatre, Playhouse, Fairfax Studio, George Adams Gallery, St Kilda Road Foyer Gallery and Café Vic
Hamer Hall is located north of Theatres Building (closer to Princes Bridge, the Yarra River and Flinders Street Station) and is home to BlackBox, EQ Cafebar, Soundhouse and Hamer Hall.
The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is located on the other side of St Kilda Road, through Kings Domain Gardens.
The Malthouse Threatre is located in Stuart Street.
The Melbourne Theatre Company uses a number of local theatre venues.
The new Melbourne Recital Centre is located at the corner of Southbank Boulevard and Stuart Street
The Australian Ballet is located in Kavanagh Street.
Opera Australia is located nearby in Fanning Lane.
