About the Quest Southbank Environment Sustainability Programme: Quest Southbank is Green STAR-rated by AAA Tourism and has an ongoing commitment to the Melbourne City Council’s “Savings in the City” programme, in which serviced apartments and hotels are assessed against resource usage and environmental sustainability benchmarks.

Our apartments have energy efficient long life globes, water saving showerheads and flow controllers in showers and taps. Guest consumables are biodegradable and dishwashing powder is phosphate free. Our housekeeping cleaning products are all biodegradable and where practical we use 100% recycled paper products. Quest Southbank actively supports a waste separation and recycling programme. Our preventative maintenance programme supports energy efficiency with major appliances including air conditioners.

Conserve Power- Turn off lights, appliances and the air conditioner when you leave your apartment. When practical, please use natural ventilation instead of the air conditioner when staying in the apartment.

Clothes Washing Machines/Dryers and Dishwashers – Please use the “economical” or “short” cycles to conserve water and energy resources. Further details for each appliance are included in the Appliance Instructions folder located above the microwave.

Linen and Towels - We utilize a 3 day Linen replacement policy for existing Guests. If you are happy to use your towel again please leave it on the towel rail. If you require a fresh towel, please leave towel in the bath or shower.

Water Usage – Where possible, please minimise your use of water.

Waste Recycling – Our building supports a waste recycling programme where we separate food and rubbish from recyclable items such as glass and plastic bottles, newspapers and cardboard. Where possible, please leave recyclable items on the kitchen bench for our housekeeping team to collect.

Housekeeping Servicing Policy – If the Apartment is unoccupied when we carry out a service, housekeeping staff will switch off lights, appliances and the air conditioner.
